Privacy Notice
Effective date: 09 April 2026
Boole built this site to collect as little about visitors as possible.
boole.com does not use cookies, consent banners, client-side analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers. If you browse the site, only standard infrastructure-level reporting reaches Boole: aggregate, cookie-free, and not linked to individuals. If you use the contact form, Boole also collects the information described below.
Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Boole handles personal data collected through boole.com.

What Boole collects when you browse the site
When you visit boole.com:
- the site does not set cookies
- the site does not assign you a cross-page identifier
- the site does not load third-party tracking scripts
- the production site uses self-hosted fonts, so your browser does not need to contact an external font provider
Boole uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to provide site measurement without cookies and without client-side tracking code. This enables us to see aggregate measures such as:
- pageviews
- referrer sources
- device information
- Core Web Vitals
This reporting is cookie-free, limited to site-level measures, and is not able to be used to identify individual visitors.
As part of normal site delivery and security, our hosting platform may also process standard request information at the server edge, such as request headers and approximate country derived from the request. This is used to prevent cybersecurity attacks. Boole does not use this information for advertising profiles or tracking.
What Boole collects when you contact us
If you use the contact form, Boole collects:
- your email address
- your LinkedIn profile URL, if you provide one
- any further contact details or context you choose to provide
At the point of submission, the server also records:
- the referrer URL, if your browser sends one
- any UTM parameters present in the page URL
- the submission timestamp
- Cloudflare request geography available at the server edge, such as country
Why Boole collects this data
Boole uses this information to:
- respond to your enquiry
- prepare for an initial discussion
- reduce form friction by deriving business context from the LinkedIn profile URL and email domain instead of asking you to complete a longer form
- protect the form endpoint against spam and abuse
What Boole does not collect
- client-side analytics such as GA4, Mixpanel, or Hotjar
- advertising or retargeting pixels such as Meta Pixel
- analytics, advertising, consent-management, or session cookies
- consent-management platforms or consent banners
- client-side retargeting scripts
Boole does not use the site to follow visitors across other websites, build remarketing audiences, or run behavioural advertising.
Because the site sets no cookies, it does not display a consent banner. This is a deliberate product and privacy decision, not an omission.
Contact form handling
The contact form is handled server-side through Cloudflare Pages Functions.
Inputs are validated and sanitised before processing. Where provided, Boole uses the LinkedIn profile URL and email domain to look up basic business context, such as your name, role, and organisation, rather than asking you to complete a longer form. No third-party analytics event is fired on submission.
Data retention
Boole keeps contact form submissions only for as long as needed to:
- respond to the enquiry
- assess whether there is a fit for further discussion
- maintain an operational record of the exchange
- protect or defend legal claims where necessary
Standard retention period for enquiry records: 2 years from last contact.
If an enquiry leads to a client relationship, relevant records may be retained for up to 10 years from last contact within the operational and contractual record for the relationship.
If an enquiry does not proceed, the record is deleted or anonymised in line with Boole's standard retention schedule.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for:
- access to your personal data
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion of your data
- restriction of processing
- objection to processing
- portability of the data you provided
You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection regulator.
