Solutions

What we solve

Four categories of NHS operational failure that mathematical modelling can resolve where standard instruments cannot. Each starts with the same question: is the target structurally achievable under the current configuration?

Our four solution areas

Capacity Planning & Assurance

Elective and emergency capacity modelling for NHS systems where standard tools cannot account for demand variance or structural infeasibility. We produce a formal verdict on whether bed and flow targets are achievable under the current pathway design, before resource commitments are made.

Rota Compliance & Optimisation

Workforce scheduling that reconciles junior doctor contract compliance, working-hour regulations, training requirements, and operational demand algorithmically. We establish whether the current rota design can be made compliant at sustainable cost, and provide a redesign blueprint where it cannot.

Clinical Pathway Feasibility & Redesign

The primary Boole service. A formal Pathway Feasibility Certificate confirming whether a clinical pathway can meet its target under current resource and policy configuration, with bottleneck identification and a minimum-change redesign blueprint for NHS England and CQC scrutiny.

System-Wide Policy Impact Assessment

Regional flow modelling for ICB and ICS structural changes, including consolidation, diversion, and virtual ward expansion, identifying where policy decisions create structural infeasibility in adjacent trusts and services that no standard impact analysis will predict.
